Install a dual Z axis with timing belt on your Voxelab Aquila! This video can also act as a guide for most other common 3d printers such as an Ender 3. In Part1 of this series I installed a dual z axis that used two stepper motors. In Part 2 it's a dual z axis that uses a timing belt with no additional stepper motor. In Part 3 I'll install a user created(Kevin AkaSam), and mostly 3d printed, design that uses two belts to move the z axis! Installing a dual z axis is a great way to fight against your printhead dipping or sagging, If you’re having issues with the vertical movement of your 3d printer (mostly due to added weight)a dual z axis can help stabilize that condition. Of course before performing this modification it’s in your benefit to check all the possible causes that may also be affecting your printer.
