Hash'er Dim'er Paturi is basically a recipe of East Bengal ( now Bangladesh ) by origin. In this recipe Mustard paste is used along with onions , which is not very common in the Hindu households since ages . The Muslims used to have this recipe as they used to have more and more Hash'er Dim by farming Ducks and Hens etc in the Households.
Anyway , the complex flavours of this recipe gives a hint of achar as there is a strong flavour of garlic and it mixes well with mustard oil and mustard paste . Duck egg has very high nutritive value and is very good to eat in Winter. The creamy texture of the yolk perfectly blends with the smoky and leafy flavours .
Give it a try in your kitchen. And let us know in the comment section how it turns out !
