Creed was diagnosed with Duchenne muscular dystrophy when he was a baby, but the hospital that diagnosed him could not offer any help. Luckily, Creed's family found Duke Children's, which in 2015 was named a Certified Duchenne Care Center, one of only nine in the nation, by Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. Thanks to Duke's worldclass Duchenne care center, Creed has access to a clinical trial that may provide a lifesaving breakthrough for this devastating disease.
