Dutch Pour - Pastel Tones u0026 Colours - Acrylic Fluid Art LARGE CANVAS

Hey Everyone! Thank you for being here today. I’m so happy you are here with me today to see what I created.

Today’s piece is all about the larger canvas I am using (40inches/20inches) and the soft pastel tones to create a moving piece. I have done similar pieces before (prior to me filming video tutorials) and they were a huge hit and I hope you like this too. I wanted to create a movement piece, not much negative space, but a piece that shows various things whether the interpretation is a wave motion or mountains I think this piece is one of my best and I hope you love the colour palette I decided to use. Let me know what you think! I used a hair dryer for the whole process and judged the amount of base paint to allow easy flow (using a slightly thicker consistency).

The colours for this piece are: Amsterdam: persian rose, ultramarine violet, kings blue, light gold. Winsor and Newton: pale olive and pale lemon. Arteza: pearl magenta. Mont Marte: base paint titanium white.

Time stamps:

15:15 the dried version I hope you like it :)

I have a video that shows you how I mix my paints for various techniques:    • Fluid Acrylic Pouring  Mixing my Pai...

I often get asked about where I buy my supplies from; I’ve listed the main places I buy my products. Don’t forget I am UK based; some of these companies do ship worldwide but you may find a more local supplier more affordable. I do not get commission for recommending these products; I am doing this so you can see an idea of where I gather my materials.

All canvases unless indicated are purchased from Loxley Arts – I use either the Gold or Ashgate (deep edge) brand and I find these to be the most reliable for me. You can find their website here: https://www.loxleyarts.co.uk

For my paint, I do tend to lean towards either Amsterdam, Mont Marte, System3 Acrylic or Winsor and Newton. I buy my paints from various suppliers, but my main ones are: Amazon, Art Discount (https://www.artdiscount.co.uk) Jacksons Art (https://jacksonsart.com).

I’ll be back soon with some more creations. Til next time, take care and have a great week, Mark.
