As you know, licensed winding technicians have upgraded tens of thousands of different induction motors with Slavyanka winding technology all over the world.

One of the winding technicians, who lives in Novosibirsk and works with climate control systems, imported compressors, etc., addressed an official letter to the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Department of Physical and Technical Sciences with a question about support of the technology by representatives of academic science, professors, maestros of electrical engineering.

The answer was as follows:

"The main disadvantage of the proposed motor design is the low stator winding fill factor, which is due to the actual filling of the stator slot with two independent windings. This results in excessive winding wire consumption and a reduction in the normalised performance of electrical machines compared to a conventional winding design. The insignificant efficiency advantage of the electric machines of the proposed design can only be achieved in starting modes if the electric machines are operated directly from the mains (without frequency and vector control devices). CIn case of your interest, the SSI The Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the NAS of Belarus is ready to develop and present a technical and economic evaluation of the conclusion mentioned above, including the possibility of carrying out research with certified test bench equipment, under a business contract".

Dmitriy Alexandrovich Duyunov exhaustively commented on this decision, including the nuances of the electric motors made with Slavyanka combined windings technology. Also the topics of scientific and technical development, frequency control of general industrial motors, modernization of motors of energy efficiency classes IE1 to IE3 with Slavyanka and others were raised.
