My senior project presentation, where I speak about the roots of The Weight I Carry, a short documentary I've been working to release for the past year.
In it, I talk about the challenges of creating, traveling, being present, and fostering relationships. During the time I spent making the film, I learned that I was experiencing major depression, and making it difficult on myself to connect with people. In making this documentary, I hope to further the national conversation about mental illness in this modern day of technology and social unrest.

The documentary will screen at festivals around the country this year, as I work to spread the idea that mental health can be treated through the use of outdoor education and positive reinforcement.
