Dylan, 19, was a sophomore in high school when he was seriously injured in a motorcycle accident and spent several weeks in the ICU undergoing multiple surgeries to repair injuries to his left arm and right leg.

Once stabilized, Dylan found he was unable to move most of his left arm due to significant nerve damage. Fortunately, he and his family found Barrow Neurological Institute at Phoenix Children’s, where they performed brachial plexus surgery using nerve grafts to help bridge and repair the severed nerves in Dylan’s left arm.
