These are the signs of a misfiring engine that you need to look out for:
1) The engine loses power.
2) It is difficult to start the engine.
3) Fuel consumption rises.
4) Emissions increase.
5) The engine makes popping sounds.
6) The intake or exhaust manifold backfires.
7) The engine jerks, vibrates or stalls.
