Eachine EV100 Review

Summary: Even at double the price, all aspects of this product are surprisingly good (overall quality, reception, fit, feel, look...) except for two fatal flaws. The screen FOV is just too small to be comfortable and screen edge blurring is too great if your eyes aren't absolutely perfectly aligned in the center of the lens. These unfortunate flaws make them borderline usable, I would recommend a $50 or less box goggle product over the EV100.

I understand everyone is going to say 'well you're comparing it to much more expensive goggles' to which I would respond by saying, I was once a beginner too and have tried many box and regular goggles over the years. I would prefer almost every other box goggles over the EV100 because the viewing experience is more comfortable than being afraid to fly because you can't see. The screens are really really small. If you want a goggle product, spending more money (you only buy this once) is a good idea. You will end up with a much higher value product. There are at least five new goggle products coming from various other companies over the next several months. I wouldn't jump onto this product just yet.

I am not trying to be bougie with my 'high priced' product choices. I'm trying to give you a very straight forward opinion. I've used a very large range of products. High priced and low priced. I personally don't use a lot of the most expensive products because they're not worth it. Everyone loves a good value. I apologize if I offended you by offering my earnest opinion.
