East Carolina's Justin Wilcoxen hits what appears to be a game winning home run for the Pirates in the bottom of the ninth inning vs. Bryant. At first, the question is whether Wilcoxen's ball is fair or foul. Then it's revealed the first base umpired called time during the pitch. East Carolina coach Cliff Godwin is upset about the home run being denied and argues with the umpires. Godwin is tossed from this game. Wilcoxen comes close to hitting another home run, one that counts, but his deep fly ball is caught, 2/19/22.
Bryant ends up winning this game in 10 innings, as the Pirates were swept in this three game series.
