An easy introduction into Batik instruction. Batik technique is not always easy, and can typically takes days or weeks to complete a single piece. This is a quick, one day Lighthouse painting batik to show what's possible. This was a batik painting from last year's 30 day art making challenge.

Cotton broadcloth for the painting surface
Soy Wax melted to 110° F
Fiber reactive cold water dyes
