Hi everyone! Today I’ll be showing you how to make easy clay animals for beginners. For someone wanting to start small with polymer clay, these are perfect. Keep watching for a step by step tutorial on how to make your own mini clay animals.

The type of clay used in this video is Sculpey and Fimo. I use what’s available as most brands are similar to each other. Always follow your clay’s baking instructions on the package when making clay creations. I baked mine at 225 degrees in a preheated oven for 1520 minutes. Leave to cool before handling them as they are still soft and handling them may leave dents.
Tip: When shaping the clay, if you find that you are leaving a lot of fingerprints, you can use a qtip and rubbing alcohol to wipe the surface of the clay clean.
