This design is very basic and perfect for beginners. There's only a little weaving involved, and the design is easy to customize.

16 gauge round, dead soft copper wire, 1 piece 12 inches long; 2 pieces, 2.5 inches long
26 gauge round, dead soft wire, 1 piece around 8 inches; 1 piece around 30 inches
