Here’s how to do it:

Start with a 5 1/2” square, add a 2 1/2” strip to each side, then another 2 1/2” strip to the remaining 2 sides. Voilà! An instant 9 1/2” block! Set them side by side with or without sashing or set on point like I did. If you do want to set it on point, the Border squares will be 14 3/4” and later cut into triangles from corner to corner. Then the Corner squares will be 7 5/8” and later cut into halves. In this video I show you how it’s done. Enjoy!
