►The first day in Taiwan, Taipei welcome me with the grey sky, in addition I also got up late. But it is okay, because the shop around here is opened late, so Khoai is quite comfortable have time to explore.
►Starting is Xiao Long Bao at the famous Din Tai Fung restaurant, one of the restaurant chains serving famous dimsum dishes in Taiwan and the on over the world. When come here, Khoai usually order the traditional Xiao Long Bao with dumpling and wonton. Xiao Long Bao is the dish that makes the brand of this restaurant known by many people, a small dumpling is steamed in a large steamer cage, the thin crust covers the hot meat paste inside, and because of the filing of the cake is filled with the hot meat broth made this little cake special. The way to eat this cake is also quite picky, use chopsticks to poke a holes or lightly bite the top of the cake and drink all the meat soup inside, then dip the rest of the cake into the vinegar soy sauce, eat with a little ginger in while hot.

►After finishing breakfast, Khoai went to the nearby Mr. Chiang KaiShek memorial hall. ►Taking a rest in the Memorial Hall area for a while, I’m hungry, so I decided to eat beef noodles, Yong Kang Beef Noodle is a very famous shop, not only famous for its taste, but also famous for the way to serve customer with family style. Because the shop is quite crowded and serves is such kind of family style, so sometimes the serving is not good. Coming here I often order the half of lean beef and a half of tendon in small size bowl (big zise bowl has more noodles but the same beef quantity), because the beef noodles here has bean paste in the broth, so the fermented bean made the flavor of the dish lost, for me, I also don’t like this method so much, Khoai like shops put aside this part than.
