In this video, we’re trying Indonesia’s most legendary food…Nasi Padang.

Nasi Padang is an assortment of dishes that are served with white rice, and usually includes the staples such as rendang, dendeng, and gulai.

This type of food is a favorite amongst Indonesians, and we’ve seen countless Nasi Padang restaurants during our travels, that have taken us from Sumatra all the way to Flores.

Well today, we are finally in the birthplace of this amazing food, and we’ll be sampling many dishes at the famous Lamun Ombak.

So join us on this chapter of our journey, as we drive our motorbikes from Jakarta to Sabang, across the 6th largest island in the world Sumatra, Indonesia.
