Home prices reached a new high in Q3 2023, despite higher mortgage rates. With steady homebuyer demand and a shortage of housing inventory, prices went up. Just about all housing economists called for home prices to remain flat or go up slightly. New England saw the sharpest increases with home prices up nearly 10% YOY!
