All aboard the Nairobi SGR on our way to VOI for another epic safari! This is our second time on the train and after travelling SGR first class last time, we wanted to compare the experience with the economy class.

Economy Class 700ksh
The economy class configuration is 22 on one side and 33 the other side, all face to face with a small table in the middle. The seats are a bit small, not that comfortable and it can get a little warm inside the wagon due to the larger number of people but for the price and convenience, it is totally fine.

First Class 2130ksh
In first class onboard the SGR, the configuration is very similar to a plane. Everyone faces the same direction with two recliner seats on each sides of the isle. First class also gives you access to the restaurant car which is a big plus in my book. The food is affordable and descent so grab a bite and enjoy the ride. Choo Choo!
