This is the first look at my implementation of the EDM pulse generator, which I hope to use for a "to be" designed and build Wire EDM. The pulse genarator is built based on Benjamin Flemings "Build a Pulse EDM" book and PCB that was shipped by him.
In this setup I bypassed the pulse timer based on a 555 ic Timer and instead I'm using a digital pulse generator that allows for frequency and duty cycle settings.
I also setup a ammeter and voltage meter using an arduino Uno, ADS1115, ACS712 and I2C 0.96 Oled to capture voltage and current. The plan was to put all of that in the same case, but the EMF would not allow for the arduino to work so close. Instead I will add a second U2/U3 case to handle all the digital operations.
Next steps will be to implement either a plunger/servo setup (as done by Benjamin Fleming) or go straight to Wire EDM
