Well I went back to how I learned to land the STS with a further out level approach flying it just above a stall speed nice and level and low as possible. Then flaring at the very end to make a great touch down. I know that seems like a "well Duh "sort of thing but it is much different with sticks in hand. You get caught up in the fun and sometimes loose the discipline needed to pull off proper moves.
Any how this plane is very tough and very forgiving!
