The F86 Sabre is one of the most iconic and recognizable fighter aircraft ever built. As one of the firstever jetpowered fighter aircraft with swept wings, it achieved an unmatched victory ratio of 10 to 1 against the MiG15 during the Korean War. Lieutenant Jim Thompson was credited with shooting down two MiGs during that time, one of which had a dragon painted on the side.
