En la actualidad, la actividad ferroviaria en la Ciudad de México es cada vez más rara de ver, salvo por algunos trenes con servicios a industrias u otras vías que corren por la orilla al norte de la ciudad.
La mejor, ver al ferrocarril haciendo maniobras para una industria justo en medio de grandes edificaciones modernas que crean un contraste muy interesante entre lo industrial y lo ejecutivo, la gente que circula por aquí parece disfrutarlo también.
El Servicio Julia de Ferrovalle opera actualmente al menos 4 veces por semana a esta zona de la ciudad, casi siempre con locomotoras patieras, tomando como referencia a las EMD SW1504 y MP15AC. ¡Simplemente, un espectáculo genial para algunos!
