Dr. Joe DeMarco, chiropractor and owner of OcraMed Health, demonstrates how to stretch the brachioradialis muscle of the forearm.

The brachioradialis muscle originates from the humerus bone, between the bicep and tricep muscle. It inserts on the distal end of the radius bone.

The main function of the muscle is to flex the elbow. The muscle is commonly referred to as the "hammering muscle".

This muscle often can become tight and can lead to injuries in the gym. Often, when this muscle is strained, people will experience forearm and elbow pain.

In today's video, I demonstrate how to stretch the brachioradialis muscle. The stretches are easy to perform. Perform them daily before workouts if your brachioradialis muscle is currently tight.
