Life Tracks and Hacks

In this video you will see a detailed account of the events that I experienced while on Election duty in India as a polling officer / Presiding Officer during the Parliamentary elections 2024. You will know what are the challenges a person has to go through while on election duty as a polling officer. The journey of a polling official starts a day before the election day or poll day, known as 'P1 day, with a visit to the Distribution center / Reception center ( DCRC ). From the DCRC the polling parties are assigned to different polling stations, and they have to leave for the same after doing some formalities like collecting polling material, sms/mobile registration, police tagging, vehicle tagging etc. After reaching the polling station the polling personnel have to take care of several other tasks and prepare themselves for the poll day when the actual voting takes place. Before the voting there is a Mock Poll where the working of the Electronic Voting Machine is explained to the polling agents and voters. After the completion of the polls. The EVM is sealed and packed and several election papers prepared and sealed in their respective packets, and then the polling personal leaves for the DC/RC where all these are to be submitted before getting final release.
During the course of the video I will also tell you some tricks and tips that will help you to easily overcome the various procedures and tricky situations during the polling duty.
