The electronic exhaust gas recirculation valve is a much better design compared to the old model which is activated by vaccum through a selenoid . The electronic valve can be easily switched by the computer independently of either there is vaccum in the manifold or not .
In this video you will see how it works , the wiring and how to test it up before giving further diagnose and decide if there is any part which needs to be replaced .
