West Africa Slave Trade is synonymous with Elimina's Castle in Ghana. Elmina's Castle needs to be experienced by everyone. The Door of No Return was an emotional experience. I walked the castle's steps and observed the final point where many Africans realized they would never see their homeland again.
The ancestry of millions of African Americans began right here. Africans were stolen/traded and brought to Elmina's Castle to be mentally and physically tortured for 3 months before being shipped to the Americas.
