This plane was called a fantastic machine by many experts. A very innovative design that could easily compete with the products of the world's largest arms companies.

There was no military aviation institute, ministry or any entity from the national defense industry behind its project. It was created thanks to the knowledge and passion of Edward Margański.

Thanks to its advanced design and innovative solutions, the plane could be used not only for basic training, but also for advanced training and aerobatics training.
Thanks to electronics and onboard computers, the plane could simulate the use of almost any weapon used in the armed forces, observation using radar and thermal imaging (also with the addition of objects artificially generated by the computer), as well as simulate the operation of the enemy's air defense.
Additionally, both the performance and piloting properties were to be extremely close to real combat machines, thus significantly increasing the realism of pilot training.

The first test flight took place in June 2003. It showed a few stability problems, but there were no serious defects that would prevent further progress of work. It was enough to slightly change the rudder balance to achieve the desired effect.

Unfortunately, Bielik shared the fate of many other innovative projects of Polish designers, such as the Grot and Skropion jets.
