Stuff has obtained footage of what appears to be a foreign diplomat's partner being arrested in central Wellington after the Bledisloe Cup rugby test last month.

In the video, the man is heard yelling a homophobic slur at police and telling them he has diplomatic immunity. A former diplomat has described it as "serious" and "embarrassing".
