Enchanted Apple Step by Step Acrylic Painting on Canvas for Beginners

Follow
Painting with Jane

In this video, we're gonna get in the mood for Halloween with a spooky witch, a creepy tree, an enchanted apple, and fog. Aaaaah, I can almost smell the crisp, fall leaves... This is a good lesson for beginners on up!

I’m painting on a 16x20inch stretched canvas, but you can paint on any type and size of canvas you like.

I used:
• A 1inch flat brush
• A soft 1inch brush for scrubbing (I used a filbert, but use any type and size you're ok scrubbing with)
• 1/2inch angle brush
• Soft, puffy brush for scrubbing fog (about 1/4inch around)
• A small round, liner, or detail brush

I’m using Liquitex acrylic paint in the following colors:
• Titanium White
• Primary Yellow
• Phthalocyanine Green
• Mars Black
• Cadmium Red Deep Hue

But you can use any colors you like.
