Ender 3 Filament Runout Sensor – Install Guide

Follow
3D Printscape

Many printers on the market don’t have a filament runout sensor, and the Creality lineup is no different. Fortunately, that can be solved by adding an aftermarket one. In this video, I show you how to install BTT’s smart filament sensor on an Ender 3 Pro with it connected to the mainboard (SKR Mini e3 v2.0). The process will be pretty much the same for any printer running a mainboard that has a break detection port. Next week, I will be creating a video that shows you how to connect the sensor to a TFT35.
