This W18, or more correctly saying "triple six" is a pretty obscure engine. There is very little info available for this engine so I had to make a lot of guesswork. The bore and stroke are known and are based on available at that time VW platform, so I took info like camshafts, conrods etc. from 1.4 TFSI and just scaled it up, I am pretty sure VAG did the same xd. The firing order is a regular inline six 153624 with the middle sequence 360phased.

I am also pretty sure that VAG engineers used split pin cranks because the natural evenfiring bank angle for this layout is 40 degrees, not 60. There is no point in making uneven firing W18 because this engine should be as smooth as possible, right?

This engine could be found in 1998 Bugatti EB 118, 1999 Bugatti EB 218 and 1999 Bugatti 18/3 Charon prototypes.
