Engwe's new E26 packs premium features at a budget price point. At only $1200, the features listed sounded too good to be true. Featuring not just a powerful 1000w motor capable of 28mph, but proper hydraulic brakes to stop those giant 26" fat tires, I figured this bike would be an absolute home run.

To my surprise, the bike lives up to expectations and offers great ride quality, range, and power at a reasonable price. Unfortunately, the unit I received had a few minor problems on unboxing, which were easy enough for me to fix, but might disappoint a new buyer. While I doubt these problems are typical for this model, I do recommend anyone purchasing an EBike online be prepared to do basic bike maintenance and repairs, as eventually these will be necessary on ANY bike.
