Wont Get Up-WILL & Poncho

On Day 5 I returned to The Appalachian Trail Hostel & Outfitters in Millinocket, Maine to give my feet a day off.
On our way back to the campground I had the pleasure of listening to the WISDOM of “Ole Man,” Paul Renaud. ONE OF THE KINDEST SWEETEST HUMANS I HAVE EVER MET. Paul got his trail name while hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2006. He purchased the Hostel, formerly the Lodge, directly after completing the trail and has been an integral part of the Appalachian Trail community ever since. Once again, I had THE GREATEST experience at the Appalachian Trail Hostel. They also own The Appalachian Trail Cafe just down the road.

Follow along as I attempt to become the first female to thru hike The Northeast 115 Southbound from Maine to the Catskills in NY! This is my first attempt and I am excited to document and share my journey with you as I post from the hike as often as I can
