This is the last Behind the scene episode of our Andhra Pradesh series, We decided to spent few hours of the morning exploring Vijayawada then proceeded towards Hyderabad.

Date of journey 20th Jan 2023. We started from Vijayawada & traveled to hyderabad airport,

Below are the activities we did throughout the day.

Vijayawada to Hyderabad 275 Km

SSS Idly We had our breakfast at this place in vijayawada, 2 Idly Rs 32. We really enjoyed taste of idly at Vijayawada at SSS and Babai hotel.

Mylapore Coffee Just outside the SSS idly this shop, where we tried the filter coffee.

Bhavani Island which is about 8 km from Vijayawada, Bhavani Island is spread across 133 acres. After reaching there we took a boat to reach the Island Rs 140 per person to & fro. There are many activities one can do on the Island Musical fountain, Water Sports, Maze Garden, Adventure games indoor & outdoor, Robotic Jurassic Park.

There are about 20 to 30 rooms there which come under Andhra pradesh tourism, can be booked through Andhra Pradesh tourism website.

Ac Deluxe rooms Monday to Thursday Room rent is about Rs 2688 aprox, Friday to Sunday Rs 3068

AC Conference Hall Rs 7080, 60 Capacity for 6 hrs.

We hired a Battery cart ride to roam around the island in 10 min Rs 60 per person.

On way to Hyderabad, we stopped at Hanuman Temple, this place has the second tallest statue of Lord Hanuman.

Sri Divya Sundara Abhaya Veera Hanuman There is 135 feet tall gigantic statue of Lord Hanuman in the vicinity of this temple which is located across the highway.

RajuGaari Thota We had lunch here, Royalla Vepudu (prawns fry), Natukodi Pulusu (country chicken curry) Rs 399

Then we had to Hyderabad Airport to board the flight for Delhi.
