A look around San Antonio, TX, followed by ghost hunting at the Alamo.
The Roman catholic mission was set up around 1718, constructed of adobe mud and hay. It changed location a few times. Once it flooded after heavy rain and was moved to the other side of the river where it sits today. Stone construction started about 1744. They built a tower on it, but it collapsed. The plan was to build a third story with a dome roof, but construction stopped at the second floor. It was never an official church because it was never finished. It was a selfsufficient compound, with livestock and corn fields around it. Six different flags have flown over the Alamo.
