'Tradition is an everflowing stream that only enriches with time... flow with it and you progress;or delve deep within and you expand... This Chaturang is one such treasure trove... Originally composed by late Pt.Mohanrao Kallianpurkar, it was recreated (musically) and choreographed for his birth centenary celebration by Guru Smt. Shama Bhate.

It describes the beauty of Lord Krishna andhis divine nritya. The 4 antaras develop one aspect each of a Chaturang: Sahitya (literature), Tarana, Sargam and nritta/pakhawaj bols; and are further explored through dance. The anagat footwork makes this simplistic bandish complex, layered and rich.... 'निरतत कान्ह चतरंग....!'
