This is a record of my trip to Weifeng, China in 2011 to visit the grave monument of Eric Liddell, the Christian missionaryteacher who died in a Japanese camp in 1945. Eric was a great runner portrayed in the movie "Chariots of FIre" who won the 1924 Olympics 400 meter race. Weifeng is a beautiful city of about 8 million people. They recently memorialized Eric Liddell with a monument in the camp where he died. Eric was greatly respected inside and outside of China. Most of the subtitle material in the video is taken directly from the monument where it is found in English and Chinese.
