As featured on Facebook Live in August 2021, Carrie shares the struggles of Esophageal Cancer diagnosis, selfadvocacy and helping to spread awareness for this lesser known cancer, which there is little to no funding and no mandated screenings. As the Brooklyn Chapter Representative for the Salgi Esophageal Cancer Research Foundation, my mission is raise awareness and fight for early detection.
