What’s happening in this E.T movie clip?
Elliot (Henry Thomas from Legends of the Fall) is in science class studying frogs. He finds it cruel to lock them in jars, and so he frees them all, causing chaos in the classroom. Most of his classmates help him free them, but others are scared. Meanwhile, E.T. is at Elliot's house watching TV. He comes across a romantic scene that moves him. Elliot's mom comes home from shopping and she's so busy she doesn't even realize that E.T. is in the kitchen with her, despite her daughter trying to draw attention to him.

What’s the E.T movie about?
An unidentified flying object lands in the middle of the night near Los Angeles. A few aliens on an exploration mission emerge, but one of them ventures a little too far into the city. He then discovered human civilization. Elliot (Henry Thomas from Legends of the Fall) rescues and hides him as US government agents search for him. Elliot and E.T. form a deep friendship and with his siblings he helps him get home.
