The (2020) EU Immigration law is common across Europe and the Schengen Countries so my experiences and learning in Greece are relevant to any country in the Schengen Zone

My ultimate goal is to achieve Greek (European) Citizenship, but the path is complicated and restrictive. It is made somewhat easier by virtue of my having married my Greek Wife. It will be a privilege if I can ever achieve this.

We had previously lived in Vietnam for 10 years, and although half way across the world, The Vietnamese legal system is based on the French system, and as such when I arrived in Greece I found myself pretty familiar with the European Immigration Rules and its requirements for access.
