Video: The return journey of 9057/9O57 back to London St Pancras International from MarnelaVallée Chessy (Disneyland Paris) onboard a Eurostar Class 373 TGV TMST e300 unit (3205/3206). This service was a direct nonstop service back to London, which would have originally made set down only calls at Ashford and Ebbsfleet in the past.
A few things of note regarding this journey, it was delayed enroute due to late running TGVs from the Mediterranean routes being ahead until we overtook the two services: one at Paris CDG airport, and the other at TGV Haute Picardie. Secondly the heavy rain and thunderstorms between Lille and Calais, and then for the whole of HS1 meant there were slight speed restrictions for the last half of the journey. And lastly, despite the long preplanning that went into selecting these services to avoid crowds of noisy passengers and school holidays, I unfortunately was not as lucky with this journey as I was for the first. Thankfully this 373 was a good unit when it came to the motor sounds.
