Airbus are trying as hard as they possibly can to dominate the singleaisle mediumhaul commercial flight market and that’s why they have revealed plans to release a larger dualsourced engineselection variant of their relatively new but troubled A220 lineup called the A220500 or NEO as they intend to turn things up a notch. The A220NEO is expected to replace Airbus’s ageing A320 lineup and properly compete in the same airspaces as Boeing’s 737MAX.
