My two favorite nontowered airports in the LA area are Flabob.... and this one! Santa Paula airport is a very busy and action packed, but small airport to the northwest of Los Angeles. Aerobatic pilots and plenty of vintage aircraft flying around, and lots of history... this is a one airport that every pilot should visit.
