Currently, the 2D Mario series finds itself in a very strange position. We haven’t had a true new entry in almost a decade, not including ports. Instead, Nintendo decided to give us the Mario Maker games. These allowed longtime Mario fans to finally be able to create their own unique levels in many iconic game styles. I have sunk hundreds of hours into both these titles, and enjoyed them to the very end.

However, I still think there is potential for a third entry in the series. Although I think Super Mario Maker 2 was a great game, there wasn’t as much content as we had initially anticipated. This video will be about everything I want in my dream Super Mario Maker 3, while staying as realistic as possible.
