The 2024 Feast of San Gennaro has kicked off in New York City's Little Italy! The San Gennaro Festival is one of the city's most famous and popular street fairs—and a great place to try some American street food!

While Little Italy may no longer be the best place in NYC to get Italian food, the San Gennaro Festival is still a highlyanticipated event each year. Running for 11 days, you have plenty of opportunities to try ItalianAmerican street food classics like sausage and peppers, zeppole, cannoli, arancini, and, of course—pizza.

We visited the street fair early to make it easier to visit different food stalls and try some of the most recommended festival food. We missed out on the prime people watching hours, but still had a lot of fun!
