After Godzilla vs Destoroyah the big G man never really got a sequel. But now Gemstone is making short films set after the 1995 movie and even bringing back designs and characters from the Heisei series to make follow ups. While Toho hasn’t really made too much info on them available as far as continuity goes, these are made to be reimaginings of Gigan and Megalon the same way Ghidorah, Mothra and Mechagodzilla were in the 1990’s.
