Michael Parchaiski

This video is the second installment of my music theory education videos. This video will provide you with all you need to know to read sheet music.
The resources I mentioned in the video can be found below:
Practice: Reading treble clef: https://bit.ly/4aYLBwW
Practice: Reading the piano: https://bit.ly/3SjZNt3
Challenge: Reading treble clef on piano: https://bit.ly/3S0c6Jq

One of the most discouraging parts of learning to play music is learning to read music. I have formatted this video in a way so all of the essential information is explained as easily as possible no matter your age or musical skill. This video has A LOT of information in it, but the format of giving you as much information as possible makes rewatches very rewarding as you will pick up a lot more of the information that you may have missed on the first watch. I believe that everyone should be able to learn music theory in a way that makes it easy to understand, where topics are not just thrown at you but rather explained in a specific way that makes sure everyone is able to fully grasp the concepts being discussed.

My goal is to create several music theory videos for all skill levels of musicians starting with the most basic topics, going all the way to some very advanced concepts, with the goal that beginning musicians should be able to learn even the most advanced topics by watching these videos.

If anyone has any questions or comments, please leave a comment and I will do my best to respond to as many as I can (I may even make another video if there are enough questions about a specific topic). I want everyone to feel like they are able to learn music theory, as it is such an important part of playing and listening to music.

I hope everyone was able to learn something new about reading sheet music. I am very excited to continue to share all that I know about music theory with you!
