At the end of the CN 8th Anniversary Live Stream for Honkai Impact 3rd, the developers announced a collab between Honkai Impact 3rd and Honkai: Star Rail. This collaboration will most likely only be one way, and the only confirmed thing about it is that Sparkle will debut in Honkai Impact 3rd version 7.9 as a playable character.

This video aims to explain everything we know about the collab, clear up misinformation, and talk about all the Honkai: Star Rail references that appeared in the main story of Honkai Impact 3rd in patch 7.8 such as Sparkle being on Mars, Vita mentioning Aeons, and Kiana talking with a Memokeeper from the Garden of Recollection. All these things are part of the main story, and have nothing to do with the collab itself.
