Battra is a black heavenly moth monster, debuted in the 1992 Toho Godzilla movie "Godzilla vs. Mothra". He has the same life cycle as Mothra, with a larva form having a transitional phase into a imago form. While Mothra represents the Earth's grandeur and beauty, Battra is a living weapon, born armored and armed against any danger to the planet's wellbeing.
