This is the Evolution of Ganon's theme aka Priest of the Dark Order (Ganondorf). We see Koji Kondo compose an intro to Ganon in 1986 which becomes the building blocks of every Ganon theme for the next 40 years. Parallel fourths moving chromatically, and there are nods to this theme EVERYWHERE.

There's even a subtle cue that appears a few places and holds more meaning than meets the eye. Wait till the end
